Derek Weichel, M.D. Derek Weichel, a native of Plymouth, came to Beatrice in July 2012 to start Beatrice Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine at Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center.
Dr. Weichel attended medical school at the University of Virginia. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency training program at the University of South Florida in Tampa in 2012.
Dr. Weichel lives in Beatrice with his wife and four young children. In his free time, he enjoys running, flying airplanes and spending time with his family. |
Amanda Scheiding, PA-C Amanda Scheiding is a native of DeWitt.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Oklahoma, then returned to Nebraska to complete her graduate work at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
After completing training, Amanda worked as a family practice physician assistant in Fairbury for three years prior to joining Beatrice Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in 2014.
She and her husband live on a farm west of Plymouth. |
